Profile ~ Ann Marie Carr-Reardon, Massachusetts - 1992

Ann Marie is a teacher of physical education in the Waltham Public Schools.  She has been an active official with the Boston Board since 1971 and has served as president, vice president and sports chairperson.  Her officiating duties have included doing basketball, volleyball, and softball at both high school and college levels.  Currently, Ann Marie is an assigner of officials for many high schools and colleges.  A great deal of her experience in officiating has been at the tournament level at both high school and college levels.


Additionally, Ann Marie has served as president of the Officials for Women’s Collegiate Athletics, and she is the vice president elect for Girls and Women in Sport, a division of the Massachusetts Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance.  She has recently received a scholarship to attend the “Links to Leadership – Promoting Women in Sport” conference to be held in June, 1992.
