Profile ~ Bonnie Lord, New Hampshire - Jan, 1995

Bonnie is the United States Field Hockey Association Regional Administrative Director – Northeast and varsity field hockey /varsity softball coach at Kingswood Regional High School.  Bonnie, who has a “passion for the sports of field hockey and softball,” has been coaching high school sports since 1972.  Post season play has included State Championships in Class 1 Field Hockey in 1994, 1192, and 1985.  Her softball teams made the quarter-finals in 1994 and 1993.

Her league affiliation includes the New Hampshire Interscholastic Athletic Association, the USFHA elite coaching staff, the New Hampshire Field Hockey Coaches Association, and the United States Field Hockey Association National Futures Committee from 1993 to the present.

She was the founder of the New Hampshire/Vermont Twin State Field Hockey Classic, and has served as its coordinator since 1984.  Bonnie has been involved with professional associations: the New Hampshire Interscholastic Athletic Association, Field Hockey Committee (1990-1994), founder, member, and past-president of the New Hampshire Field Hockey Coaches Association (1984-present), founder and head coach of the New Hampshire Northern Lights Hockey Festival Team (1992, 1993, and 1994).

Bonnie has received many awards in recognition of her expertise in field hockey, including the New Hampshire Interscholastic Athletic Association Appreciation Award in 1994.  She was also named Coach of the Year in 1985.
