Profile ~ Jenna Tucchio, Connecticut - 2012

Jenna Tucchio Jenna Tucchio takes a great deal of pride in the opportunities she has been provided through women’s athletics. Being a teacher, coach, official, and player throughout her lifetime has shaped her into who she is as a person and greatly enriched her life.

She began her coaching career in 1997 with high school field hockey, basketball, and track. “Working with young women has inspired me to give back as much as possible to the venue that has provided me with a lifetime of lessons, values, and enjoyment.”

Jenna has been honored as the New London Day Coach of the Year in field hockey four times, and the Norwich Bulletin Coach of the Year for field hockey twice. In 2003 she was the New London Day Coach of the Year for girls’ indoor track. She is a certified coach/official in field hockey, basketball, and lacrosse.

“Being a teacher, coach, and official is not just what I do; it is my passion and my lifestyle … I hope that my experiences and leadership will in some way help guide the young women I work with in a positive and productive manner.”
