Profile ~ Vicki Parady-Guay, New Hampshire - 2007

Vicki Pardy-GuayVicki is a graduate of Plymouth State College, class of 1979.  For over a quarter of a century she has coached field hockey, basketball, softball, and boys’ varsity tennis.  During these years she was the Director of Athletics and Physical Education and also officiated softball and football.

In addition, she has served as Secretary and Vice President of the NHADA, was a committee member of the NHIAA, and  was a member of AAHPERD for 27 years. Vicki has been an active member of many organizations: NIAAA, NASO, NHFCA, and NHBOA.   She was also a member of the Booster and Touchdown Clubs.

She has received many awards: the Athletic Director of the Year Award, the Walter A. Smith Coaches Award, the NHADA Service Award, the NHIAA Advancement of Girls Sports Award and the Coaches’ Hall of Fame Award.  She was also recognized with a Contribution Award for her work with the Wrestling Officials Association.

Vick entered teaching, coaching, and officiating in the early years of Title IX.  In appreciation for the opportunities given to her, she has tried very hard to “give back” throughout her career.
