Merrie is a physical education teacher and coach in the Hingham, Massachusetts, public schools. She has been actively involved in coaching field hockey, basketball, and softball for 19 years. She has been the recipient of many coaching awards. She has participated in and hosted many play days, clinics, and officiating rating sessions.
